"I grew up on a tiny island with only thirty-two
full-time
residents. One of my earliest memories is of my father playing his
harmonica; I wasn't even two at the time, but I can see and hear it
clearly. I sang at school and in the church choir, but when our
neighbor sat down at that church piano and played
"Heart and Soul", it was like a revelation - a man was playing happy
music just because he wanted to! My eyes were opened at that
moment and I knew that I wanted
that. My parents got no rest until they bought me a piano.
I ate, read, studied and played at that piano every day for
the next seven years. Since then I have
studied classical, jazz, rock, new-age and ethnic styles, but my goal
has always been to make myself and others happier through music"

Crow Weaver
Band Founder
vocals, guitar, dobro, indian flute, silver
flute, sax
"I was born in the heartland of Virginia and grew
up
listening
to blues and deep southern rock, along with rockin' gospel from the
Pentacostal church that my parents dragged me to. I started playing
guitar when I was 13 and later picked up silver and Native American
flutes. I've always played as an alchemy for the heart and soul. As I
explored my Native American and Celtic ancestry, I began to create an
unusual blend of spiritually-minded, earthy and edgy rock-and-roll that
is really quite different from the norm. I call my music Tribal Rock,
as it transcends all race and creed to bring people together as one. We
are all Native Earthlings."
